Last few days manic! Packed up the car so full that the only way to get the last bits in was to open the windows and stuff things through the window. Picking up the van was fine, a few instructions on changing the chemical toilet *nice* refilling and using the fridge/boiler/cooker/TV etc and I was off to London. Van pretty easy to drive on the wide roads and motorway, not really looking forward to the small ro or busy roads. As luck would have it both the M25 and M4 were either blocked or closed so with the prospect of a 9 mile queue, I headed straight through the baptism of fire that was central London. (at least I got to see Wembley stadium) As it happens, all is fine because everyone keeps well away from you. It is like having massive L plates.
